Stefanini Group has promoted Dr Kanwar Pravir Singh to Senior Director, People & Performance.

In his expanded role, Dr Singh will lead the people & performance initiatives within the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, focusing on organisational effectiveness and business alignment. In partnership with the senior leadership, he will shape a future-ready organisation focused on performance and continuous improvement.
Additionally, Dr Singh will oversee key people functions, including onboarding, talent acquisition, and talent management. He will also focus on enhancing organisational efficiency by identifying and closing gaps, streamlining processes, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Prior to his new appointment, Dr Singh was serving as Director of People & Culture – India for Steganini North America and India. Having taken up the role in January 2023, he focused on bringing people & culture leadership to the forefront and participating in shaping a future-ready organisation.
From October 2018 to January 2023, Dr Singh was a part of Reliance Industries as Senior General Manager – HR Transformation (Career Acceleration Program – RIL). He was also associated with EY from December 2015 to October 2018 as Assistant Director – Workforce Advisory.
In November 2012, Dr Singh joined Umbrio Consulting as Chief Operating Officer and Head of OD Interventions, retaining the position until December 2015. Before that, he worked for GHCL Limited from September 2009 to October 2012 as General Manager – Strategic Steering Committee Member. He was also Deputy General Manager – Corporate for Trident Group India from February 2007 to October 2009.
Dr Singh is a former member of the Indian Navy, having served as a Sub-lieutenant. He was part of the Indian Armed Forces from June 1998 to June 2005. Additionally, Dr Singh holds a PhD in Management—Employee Engagement from Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth.
