Spotify elevates Shreyas Haridas to HR Director, JAPAC and SAMEA, expanding his leadership mandate to oversee the company’s people and HR strategy across Africa, Asia and Australia.
Taking to LinkedIn, Haridas wrote, “I recently moved into an expanded role and have been promoted to lead HR for Spotify across JAPAC & SAMEA. These markets are an incredible melting pot of culture, talent, and business, and I’m excited to work with our teams across the regions!”
Haridas has been working for Spotify since 2022 and has played a key role in shaping the organisation’s HR vision across South Asia, the Middle East and Africa. With his expanded remit, Haridas will continue to focus on building strong people systems and inclusive cultures that enable Spotify’s teams across regions to scale sustainably while remaining aligned with the company’s global values and business priorities.
Before joining Spotify, he was associated with Nomura, where he served as Assistant Vice President, Human Resources.
His earlier career includes HR business partnering roles at Disney Star, where he supported corporate functions such as finance, legal and technology, and at Reliance Industries Limited, working with group-level teams in a large and complex organisational environment.
