Sarovar Hotels has announced the promotion of Mielle Batliwala to the role of Vice President of Human Resources, to strengthen leadership and organisational capability.
Since joining Sarovar Hotels two years ago, Batliwala has been credited with stabilising and enhancing the HR function, refining processes, and improving service delivery across the people agenda.
Before her current role, she took a career break and brings more than 23 years of professional experience to the position, including a long tenure with Marriott International, where she spent around two decades.
During her time with Sarovar, Batliwala has also driven several automation and digitisation initiatives within HR and Learning & Development, helping improve compliance, transparency, and operational efficiency. These efforts have laid the foundations for scalable growth within the organisation.
