Runwal Enterprises has appointed Joy Aniket Ekka as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Ekka is known for his skills in HR transformation, business partnering, capability building, and organisational development. He has led strategic initiatives across multiple regions and business verticals, driving impactful change, enhancing talent management frameworks, and strengthening people-centric practices.
Prior to joining Runwal Enterprises, Ekka had been a part of Godrej Properties for over 4 years. He joined the company in September 2021 as Head HR – Mumbai Zone, a role he retained until his recent appointment. From December 2019 to September 2021, Ekka worked with Lodha Group as General Manager – Organisational Transformation.
In May 2018, Ekka was appointed as Senior Manager – Human Resources by Mahindra Lifespace Developers. He was also with Reliance for 5 years, having joined as an HR Business Partner in June 2013. This was followed by his ascension to HR Capability Execution Lead in June 2015.
Ekka has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. He also holds a B. Tech in Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
