Sanu Kumar has been promoted to Deputy General Manager – Total Rewards Strategy & Workforce Solutions at ReNew, based in Gurugram, Haryana. In this new role, he will lead strategic compensation and benefits initiatives, design comprehensive workforce solutions, and align people strategies with organizational goals, further strengthening ReNew’s position as a key player in India’s renewable energy sector.

Sanu previously served as Assistant General Manager – Total Rewards Strategy & Workforce Solutions at ReNew. He brings over a decade of experience in delivering innovative People & Culture solutions that are strategically aligned with business priorities. His diverse experience spans HR Business Partnering, Rebadging (Mergers & Acquisitions), HR Transformation, Change Management, and leading global programs in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). An alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, Sanu brings together analytical acumen and strategic HR vision to drive organizational success.
Before joining ReNew, Sanu worked with LTI – Larsen & Toubro Infotech as Associate Director – HRBP for Emerging Markets, where he also led HR integration for M&A initiatives in the Middle East. His earlier career includes impactful stints at Tata Steel, where he began his professional journey, and Atos, where he strengthened his expertise in HR business partnering.
