Grand Hyatt Mumbai has appointed Prasad Prabhu as its Learning and Development Manager. In this role, he will lead the hotel’s L&D strategy with a focus on strengthening leadership development, embedding Hyatt’s values through a culture of continuous learning, boosting colleague engagement, and aligning training programs with operational and business objectives.
Prior to this role, Prabhu served as Learning Manager at Grand Hyatt Goa, where he strengthened the hotel’s learning framework and also contributed as an ASPAC Master Trainer for Hyatt Hotels Corporation. In this capacity, he designed and delivered high-impact leadership and trainer-development workshops across the Asia Pacific region. His work in Goa not only elevated leadership capability at the property but also advanced Hyatt’s broader vision of developing future-ready hospitality talent.
Overall, Prasad brings nearly 18 years of experience and is deeply passionate about employee training, colleague motivation, and organisational development. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in General Management from Welingkar Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, and refined his hospitality skills at the Institute of Hotel Management in both Mumbai and Goa. Over the course of his career, he has evolved into a seasoned hotelier, having worked with renowned hospitality brands such as the Indian Hotels Company Limited (Taj Hotels), Park Hyatt, The Leela Kempinski, The Zuri Hospitality, and InterContinental Hotels Group.
