Pizza Hut has appointed Nazia Abidi as Chief People and Culture Officer for the Indian Subcontinent.

In her new role, Abidi will lead the people strategy for the subcontinent, steering organisational transformation and talent management initiatives. Her expertise in HR Business Partnering, driving change management, employer branding, and talent acquisition will allow her to cultivate a high-performance culture focused on continuous growth and development.
Before she joined Pizza Hut, Abidi was a part of the CarDekho Group. From June 2020 to June 2025, she served as the company’s Director of Human Resources. While there, Abidi led the HR operations for Southeast Asia and played a key role in scaling the group’s fintech arm, Rupyy.
Abidi was also associated with Samsung Electronics from March 2018 to May 2020 as Manager of HR Business Partnering and a Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (CoE). She was also the Assistant Manager of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, at Samsung from June 2015 to May 2020. In the past, she has been a Summer Intern for Vodafone and a Systems Engineer for Infosys.
An alumna of XLRI Jamshedpur, Abidi has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration.
