Raj Ambekar has joined PI Industries as Global Head of Talent Management. Established in 1946, PI Industries Ltd. is one of India’s leading agrisciences and fine chemical companies, known for its innovative solutions that empower farmers. In his new role, he will drive the company’s global talent strategy, supporting PI Industries’ multi-dimensional growth across varied scientific domains, geographies, and business models.

Raj brings over 25 years of extensive HR and leadership experience across global organizations. He has led HR functions across Consumer Goods, Agriculture & Biotech, Shipping, Services, Technology, and Pharmaceuticals on a global scale. Having lived and worked in Asia, Europe, and the USA, he brings firsthand experience from six countries and professional exposure across more than 40. Recently, Raj has also collaborated with start-ups and family-owned businesses, supporting their growth and talent strategies.

Before joining PI Industries, he worked as a freelancer in Organizational Transformation Consulting. He also served as Head of HR & Communications at AXA Global Business Services (AXA GBS), overseeing HR, communications, and CSR initiatives across India, Morocco, and Poland. Raj has held senior HR leadership roles at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Wipro, A.P. Moller – Maersk, and Monsanto Company, where he spearheaded talent transformation, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development initiatives.
