PeopleStrong has appointed Aashay Manake as Chief People Officer.
The company shared in a statement that, in his new role, Manake will lead PeopleStrong’s people and culture strategy, strengthening leadership capability, workforce effectiveness and organisational readiness as the company scales across markets.
Before he joined PeopleStrong, Manake was a part of Jubilant FoodWorks for over 4 years. He was first appointed as National HR Business Partner- Supply Chain in April 2021, followed by his promotion to HR Lead- Corporate functions in July 2023. In May 2023, Manake was given the role of VP HR-Dunkin’, Popeyes, Hong’s, Intl Biz, Digital & Corp Functions.
From November 2019 to April 2021, Manake was a part of OYO Vacation Homes as Assistant Vice President (AVP) – HR. He also served as Director – HR at OYO from November 2017 to November 2019. Manake was also with GE Healthcare from April 2015 to October 2017 as Human Resources Manager.
Manake was associated with ITC for over five years. He started at the company as an Assistant under training in June 2009 was then given the role of Assistant Manager-HR in December 2009. In January 2012, Manake became Assistant Manager, HR, in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. This was followed by his appointment as Acting HR Manager in April 2014 in Gurugram, a role he held until March 2015.
