OpenText has appointed Rashmi Nair as Vice President (VP) and India HR Leader.

With over 23 years of experience, Nair is well-versed in driving talent strategy for diverse portfolios that include information technology, product engineering, sales, scientific research and media.
Prior to joining OpenText, Nair was a part of Lumen Technologies. From September 2021 to August 2025, she worked there as Head of HR, India. In July 2015, she became HR Lead – Bangalore Site, Life Sciences Solutions (India) & APJ Employee Relations Advisor for Thermo Fisher Scientific and worked there for over 5 years until August 2020.
From April 2014 to June 2015, Nair was associated with Tribune Digital Ventures as HR Business Partner – Regional lead (India, Indonesia and Middle East). Before that, she worked for Thomson Reuters as Manager HR for News & Media, South Asia (India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka) from May 2007 to June 2013.
