Omega Healthcare has appointed Viral Bansal as its Chief People Officer and Global Head – Human Resources.
In his new role, Bansal will lead people strategy across the company’s global operations, with a focus on building a future-ready workforce, strengthening leadership pipelines, and deepening the inclusive culture that the organisation considers central to its healthcare mission.
“We’re thrilled to announce the appointment of Viral Bansal as our new Chief People Officer and Global Head – Human Resources, marking an exciting chapter in people strategy and organisational growth,” the company said in a statement shared on LinkedIn.

Prior to CheQ, Bansal was Vice President – Human Resources at Genpact, the global professional services firm. His career spans both high-growth startup environments and large, complex enterprises, with deep expertise in change management, mergers and acquisitions, total rewards, digital transformation, and next-generation talent strategy.
Bansal holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and a B.Com (Hons) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi. His appointment comes as Omega Healthcare continues to scale its position in the global healthcare outsourcing space, offering services across revenue cycle management, clinical enablement, data orchestration, and payer administration.
