Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre, a part of the Accor Group, has appointed S.V. Sathyam as Director of People & Culture.

Though in a new role, Sathyam has been associated with the Accord Group for a long time and has significantly contributed to the hospitality industry. In 2016, he, in association with Novotel Hyderabad Airport, received “The Most Influential Leaders” award in the Services & Hospitality Industry by the Stars of the Industry Awards. Sathyam was also announced as CSR Person of the Year 2016, The Planet 21 Award – Asia Pacific by AccorHotels.
Sathyam has over 20 years of experience under his belt and is well-versed in creating strong people-first cultures across hospitality brands. He is an advocate of diversity in the workplace,
From May 2014 to November 2025, Sathyam was a part of Novotel Hyderabad Airport as Director of Talent & Culture. Before that, he was with Accor from December 2007 to April 2014 as a Human Resources Manager. In July 2001, Sathyam joined Ramada as Deputy Manager HR, a role he held until November 2007.
