Novotel Guwahati has promoted Cheten P Lepcha to People and Culture Manager.
Lepcha has been a part of the Accor Group since September 2016, when he joined Fairmont Hotels and Resorts as a Human Resources (HR) Intern. In September 2017, he was elevated to the role of Talent and Learning Coordinator.
Over the course of his journey with Accor Group, Lepcha has worked at all three Ibis Hotel branches in North India, including New Delhi, Jaipur, and Gurugram. From November 2019 to December 2021, he was working as a Talent and Culture Executive in New Delhi. This was followed by his term as Assistant Manager – Talent and Culture from January 2022 to May 2022.
From May 2022 to May 2023, Lepcha worked as Talent and Culture Manager for Accor in Jaipur. He was then appointed as Talent and Culture Manager for Ibis Gurgaon in September 2023, a role he retained until his recent switch to Novotel Guwahati.
Thanks to his expertise as an HR professional in the hospitality industry, Lepcha has received numerous awards. He received the Accor Emerging Leader of the Year Award 2021. He is also a Certified Graduate of Accor’s Global Leadership Programme Pro 2025.
