Novartis has appointed Vrinda Taneja as Director – People & Organisation, International India.

Prior to joining Novartis, Taneja was with Vodafone Idea from May 2024 to November 2025 as VP HR – Technology. She was also with AkzoNobel as HR Leader – Commercial (Paints & Coatings) and R&D from August 2022 to May 2024.

Taneja was affiliated with Unilever for over a decade. She joined as an HR Consultant in May 2012, followed by her promotion to HR Business Partner – Marketing (Home Care & CMCO) in July 2013. Taneja became Unit HR Manager – R&D Centre in August 2015 and was later appointed as Regional HR Manager, Sales – East India in May 2019. She retained the latter role until August 2022.

From June 2011 to January 2012, Taneja was associated with Royal Bank of Scotland Business as an HR MI Analyst – Core Delivery Vertical. In October 2010, she joined Deutsche Postbank AG as Human Resources Executive. She has also worked for Talengene and ITC in the past.
