The Gautam Buddh Nagar administration has launched a dedicated call centre and email facility for workers to register grievances, a move that comes days after the violent factory workers’ protests that rocked Noida’s industrial sectors earlier this month.

The facility has been established by the office of the Additional Labour Commissioner, Noida, and operates from the G-25A office in Sector-3. Workers can register complaints by calling the helpline number 0124126892 or by emailing detailed descriptions to complaint.dlcnoida@gmail.com. According to the administration, all complaints received through both channels will be closely monitored to ensure prompt action and resolution.

“Workers often face challenges in communicating their grievances to the concerned departments. Keeping this issue in mind, the administration has introduced the call centre to make the complaint registration process simpler and more accessible, while also ensuring timely resolution of issues,” said Rakesh Dwivedi, Additional Labour Commissioner, Noida.

The move is aimed at benefiting workers in the industrial sector, many of whom previously had to make multiple visits to government offices to have their issues addressed. It is expected to reach thousands of workers across the district.

The timing of the launch is notable. On April 13, 2026, an estimated 40,000 to 50,000 workers across Noida’s industrial sectors walked off the job, demanding a living minimum wage, an end to 12-hour shifts, and an end to the contract labour system.

The Uttar Pradesh government responded on April 14, 2026, with an interim minimum wage hike of up to 21%, while the UP Special Task Force arrested the alleged mastermind of the protest on 19 April, 2026. The call centre marks the administration’s latest step in an ongoing effort to address worker unrest in the NCR’s industrial belt.
