Indo National, the company behind Nippo, has appointed Amit Kumar Sharda as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Sharda joined Indo National in August 2024 as the Head of Human Resources. Prior to that, he worked for Cavinkare from February 2012 to August 2014 as the Lead Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). He has also worked with IFMR Trust and Ma Foi in the past.
“As CHRO, my role is centred around shaping and leading our people strategy in alignment with the organisation’s long-term vision. We aim to build a future-ready workforce driven by excellence, inclusivity, and innovation. A key priority will be strengthening leadership at every level and leveraging technology to enhance the employee experience. Our goal is to create a workplace where talent thrives and purpose drives performance,” Sharda shared about his new appointment.
Sharda’s ascension to the role of CHRO is a part of Indo National’s strategic restructuring to prepare the company for the new age. Alongside his appointment, Suresh V was also elevated to the position of Chief Supply Chain Officer from his earlier role as the Head of Sourcing. The changes have been made in an attempt to focus on the company’s talent and culture while increasing operational efficiency.
“We have undertaken this leadership restructuring to gear up for the next phase of our journey. It is a strategic step towards strengthening the company’s core, building future-ready capabilities, and driving sustained growth across all verticals. These changes are a testament to our succession planning process and will help us build a more agile organisation, ready to seize new opportunities,” Pavan Kumar, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Indo National, stated.
