Niva Bupa Health Insurance has promoted Priyanka Sharma to Senior Vice President and Head Talent, HRBP and Sustainability.
Sharma joined Niva Bupa in December 2021 as Deputy Vice President Talent Management and Organisational Development. Over the next four and a half years, she received three successive promotions within the company moving to Vice President Talent Management, Leadership and OD, then to Vice President and Head Talent, HRBP and Sustainability, and now to her current role as Senior Vice President. In her elevated capacity, she will continue to oversee the company’s talent strategy, HR business partnering, leadership development, and sustainability people agenda.
Sharma brings over two decades of HR experience. She began her career in June 2005 as a Project Leader at Right Management, where she spent over four and a half years leading talent assessment, leadership development, and performance engagement projects for senior leadership. In February 2010, she moved to Amway India as Lead People Development, where she spent over four years. She then worked independently as a human resource consultant and trainer before joining Schneider Electric in December 2015 as Senior Manager Learning Solutions within global human resources. She was elevated to Associate General Manager Learning Solutions at Schneider Electric before joining Niva Bupa.
