House of Diagnostics (HOD) has appointed Monalisa Beck as its Chief Human Resources Officer.
Beck joins HOD from Dr Lal PathLabs (DLPL), where she spent over a decade building deep expertise in healthcare HR. She joined DLPL in May 2015 as Senior Manager – HR, working out of Kolkata, and played a key role in scaling the eastern region’s workforce from 300 to 800 resources over 36 months. She subsequently rose to General Manager – Human Resources, leading HR operations for the company’s National and Regional Reference Labs with a focus on business partnering, talent strategy, and organisational transformation.
Before Dr Lal PathLabs, Beck spent seven years at Tata Tele Business Services, where she joined as Assistant Manager – Human Resources in June 2008. She was elevated to Deputy Manager – HR and later took on learning and development responsibilities spanning West Bengal, North East and Assam, and UP East, before relocating to support the broader HR function.
Beck holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from the Xavier Institute of Social Service, Jamshedpur — one of India’s oldest institutions for HR and social work education.
