Nestlé India has appointed Nitu Bhushan as Head – Human Resources (HR), effective March 2, 2026.
The appointment was revealed in Nestle India’s Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) filing. As per sources, the appointment was done through global management consulting and executive search firm Egon Zehnder International, without the involvement of Nestlé India’s board.
Currently, Bhushan is working for Pernod Richard as Chief Human Resources Officer, South Asia, a role she took up in September 2021. In this role, she leads HR and Admin for the company, using her extensive experience and skills to bolster the company’s people operations.
For over 5 years, Bhushan was affiliated with Abbott. She started working for the company in May 2016 as Director – HR, Abbott India Limited, a role she held until January 2019. In November 2018, Bhushan was also appointed as the company’s Regional HR Director – Established Pharmaceuticals Division, India, which she retained until August 2021.
In June 2013, Bhushan joined Mondelēz International as Head – Talent Acquisition, India. She then became Head – Talent Acquisition, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan and ANZ in January 2015 for the company.
Bhushan’s time with HSBC lasted just over 5 years. She was appointed as Vice President – Strategic Resourcing by the company in July 2008 and held the role until December 2010. In September 2010, Bhushan was given the position of Resourcing Transformation Workstream Lead, Asia Pacific LTROD.
Starting in December 2011, Bhushan worked as Vice President – HR Projects for HSBC until May 2012. This was followed by her tenure as Senior Vice President – HR Relationship from May 2012 to July 2013.
From January 2005 to June 2008, Bhushan was affiliated with Asian Paints. She started as Manager – Corporate HR and then became Manager – HR (International Business Unit) in June 2007. Bhushan was also a part of Accenture from May 2003 to December 2004 as a Senior Analyst – Recruitment.
