Nestlé has appointed Navin Kumar as Factory HR Head.

Before becoming a part of Nestlé, Kumar was a part of Tata Steel for nearly sixteen years. He joined the company in July 2009 as Manager of HR/IR (Jharia Division/ OMQ Division) and rose through the ranks thanks to his skills and determination. By March 2025, during his last days with the company, Kumar held the position of Head HR Business Partner for the Bearings Division. During his time with Tata Steel, Kumar learned about the ins and outs of factory operations and the role of HR within such a working environment.
“I’m grateful to Tata Steel for providing me with a platform to learn, grow, and evolve into the professional I am today. I consider myself fortunate to have got the opportunity to work across multiple locations. The experiences, challenges, and opportunities I have had will always be cherished,” Kumar shared, expressing his gratitude for his previous company.
Kumar has a Post Graduate Diploma in Production Management (PGDPM) in personnel management and industrial relations from the Xavier Institute of Social Service. He is also an avid volunteer who took part in multiple volunteer programs during his time with Tata Steel.
