NatWest Group has appointed Gautam Shetty as Head of Talent Acquisition (India) | JMO.
“I am excited to announce my movement to NatWest Group, a forward looking company transforming the customer experience. We are building a team to deliver the best possible outcomes for our 20 million customers, and with this endeavour we are hiring the best tech talent in the country,” Shetty shared on LinkedIn.
Prior to joining NatWest Group, Shetty had been a part of A.P. Moller – Maersk for over seven years. He joined the company in March 2018 as India hiring Lead, and became Regional Head of Talent Attraction and Acquisition APAC in August 2020. In December 2023, he was also appointed as Regional Head of Talent Acquisition APAC/Africa/LAM and Global Head of Employer Branding.
“This will be my last week at Maersk and in a few days ,as I prepare to turn the page and begin a new journey beyond Maersk, my heart is a blend of gratitude, nostalgia, and anticipation,” Shetty shared in a farewell post. “To all those who have supported me in this journey ,we have been thick as thieves—sharing bright moments, supporting one another in every season, and creating a tapestry of memories I will treasure for a lifetime.”
From May 2016 to March 2018, Shetty was a part of JCPenney as Head of Talent Acquisition. In the past, from September 2005 to February 2008, he was affiliated with Ma Foi Randstad as an Assistant Consultant.
Shetty worked at Target for over eight years, joining the company in May 2012 as an Assistant Manager in Talent Acquisition. In January 2012, Shetty became Manager Talent Acquisition and was appointed as Senior Talent Acquisition Manager in April 2016.
