XSIO Industrial and Logistics Park, based in Nagpur, is expected to generate over 10,000 direct and indirect jobs. This makes it one of Maharashtra’s largest logistics-led job creation initiatives.
With an investment of ₹5,127 crore between XSIO Industry, Blackstone, and the industries department, the construction of the park began on November 15, 2025.
“Projects like XSIO Park ONE – NORTH demonstrate Maharashtra’s commitment to building world-class infrastructure across emerging cities, not just metros. Such investments propel inclusive growth, create jobs, and make Maharashtra the most trusted destination for global investors. This is development that connects progress with people, and prosperity with purpose,” said Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who was present at the inauguration.
As per the minister, the park aligns with Maharashtra’s efforts to lower freight costs and strengthen industrial corridors. The first phase of the project has an outlay of ₹700 crore, and the newly launched second phase spans 105 acres with an investment of ₹1,100 crore. The chief minister added that Nagpur’s Zero Mile position had regained strategic significance as high-speed connectivity networks expand.
“We are combining logistics with blockchain to introduce positive transformation in this sector,” Fadnavis added. Industries secretary P Anbalagan, MLAs Sameer Meghe and Ashish Deshmukh, XSIO managing director Ashish Agrawal and Blackstone India’s Tuhin Parekh were also present at the inauguration event.
