Myntra has announced the addition of 11,000 new temporary jobs through its partner network as the Big Fashion Festival draws closer.

In preparation for its flagship shopping sale, Myntra will be hiring across different roles, including logistics, customer service and last-mile delivery. The company’s warehouses in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Delhi will also see new faces for sorting, packing, and grading tasks.

About 30% of the new temporary hires by Myntra will be women, highlighting the company’s drive towards inclusivity.

“By bringing more women into our warehouses and empowering thousands through these roles, we are ensuring inclusivity while meeting customer expectations at scale,” said Govindraj M K, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Myntra.

The CHRO added that Myntra’s Big Fashion Festival goes beyond fashion and lifestyle deals as it also creates meaningful employment opportunities. Among the 11,000 new hires, approximately 7,000 will be delivery partners, while 1,400 will serve as customer support executives.

Through the new hires, Myntra aims to ensure smooth doorstep service and faster query resolution during the festive season frenzy. Additionally, the company will take advantage of its supply-chain network, which includes large distribution centres with the Kirana-led Myntra Extended Network for Service Augmentation (MENSA). This network already covers 98% of serviceable pincodes across India.

To encourage local opportunities while increasing its service capacity, Myntra is partnering with local communities and stationing migrant workers. This approach, as per the company, helps create opportunities at the regional level while ensuring operational continuity during the surge.

The 2025 Big Fashion Festival by Myntra is expected to be the biggest flagship to date, with over 10,000 brands and more than 4 million styles to be made available to the platforms 70 million+ users.
