Amid all the debates over the working conditions of the gig workers, AAP MP Raghav Chadha takes a ride with a Blinkit delivery partner, spending a day with them to understand their work.
The Rajya Sabha MP shared a small video clip of the activity on X on Monday. In the video, he is seen wearing a Blinkit-labelled jacket to ride with a partner.
Taking to X, he wrote, “Away from boardrooms, at the grassroots. I lived their day.”

This comes against the backdrop of the questions raised by Chadha at the Parliament about the life risks associated with a 10-minute delivery time frame, which triggered nationwide debate over social media.
Following this, the gig workers called a strike on December 25, 2025, demanding better working conditions and payout raise, which further left the social media divided into two sides.
Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal argued and clarified that delivery time is based on the distance between the warehouse and the drop location, and gave a breakdown of the monthly earnings of the delivery partners of the company.
On the other hand, Chadha and others, including senior journalist Barkha Dutt, argued against the quick-commerce model. Leading to a social media storm, the debate ended with Goyal’s clarification on Raj Shamani’s podcast and the labour ministry intervening to ensure social security of the gig workers.
