Mondelēz International has appointed Vandana Mehra as People Lead Sales for India. She joins the company after a 17-year tenure at PepsiCo, where she most recently served as Senior Director – Commercial Capability.
In that role, she spearheaded the sales learning strategy and enablement across Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, and China. Vandana played a pivotal role in driving the company’s strategic transition from Ready Sell to Pre-sell, aligning long-term business vision with operational execution. She also brings extensive expertise in sales process re-engineering across diverse markets, with a strong focus on CDA compliance, standardized in-store execution, and enhanced customer management.
Overall, Vandana brings 23 years of cross-industry experience, with deep subject matter expertise in driving sales effectiveness and capability development across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, China, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Her unique strengths lie in learning and development, change management, digital enablement, sales effectiveness, and business acumen. She has previously worked with several renowned organizations, including Aon, Hewlett-Packard, Bharti Airtel, and Targus.
Academically, Vandana holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) in Marketing & International Business from Hindu Institute of Management, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Botany and Zoology from Kurukshetra University.
