Mizuho Bank India has promoted Shachi Kaul to Head of Human Resources (HR) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head Human Resources & Corporate Social Responsibility at Mizuho!” Kaul shared on Instagram.
Kaul has been a part of Mizuho for over 2 years. She joined the company in January 2023 as Director Human Resources & Head CSR. In June 2025, Kaul was elevated to the position of Senior Director Human Resources & Head CSR, a role she retained until September 2025.
Before Mizuho, Kaul was a part of RBL Bank for more than 5 years. From October 2017 to January 2023, she worked at the company as Executive Vice President & Head- Learning & Organisational Development | Deputy Head CSR.
From August 2010 to October 2017, Kaul was associated with Deutsche Bank, working as Head – Talent, Development & Diversity | HR Business Partner for over 7 years. In August 2005, she joined HSBC and retained the Vice President, Learning & Development- India/Vietnam position until April 2008.
For over a decade, Kaul was affiliated with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts. She joined the hospitality company in June 1995 as Hotel Operations Manager, working at various locations. In August 2001, she was promoted to Senior Faculty – Oberoi Centre of Learning & Development, a position she held until July 2005.
