Microsoft has appointed Aparna Kondaboina as the Head of Human Resources for Microsoft Customers and Partners Solutions (MCAPS) for India and South Asia.
Kondaboina has been a part of Microsoft for well over 18 years. She joined the company in January 2007 as an HR Business Partner. In August 2010, she became a Staffing Manager and then a Senior HR Manager in December 2011. Kondaboina was appointed as a Senior Talent Management professional in November 2015. This was followed by her appointment as the HR Director of Global Commercial and Cloud Services Finance in March 2017.
In November 2020, Kondaboina became the Senior HR Director for Microsoft’s India Development Centre. Through this position, she contributed significantly to making the India Development Centre the company’s largest talent development institute outside Redmond, Washington, USA. Through her years at Microsoft, Kondaboina has spent a significant time in India as well as the USA.
In her new position, Kondaboina will focus on talent strategy, DEI initiatives, and the development of high-performance teams. Her efforts will be geared towards expanding Microsoft’s commercial business in the area.
Apart from Kondaboina’s appointment, Microsoft has also promoted Himani Agrawal to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Microsoft India and South Asia. Nitin Mittal has also joined the company as Industry Leader for Digital Natives in India and South Asia.
