McDonald’s, the leading global food service retailer with over 37,000 locations in more than 100 countries, has announced the appointment of Pragya Singh as the Director of People Partner, effective this April. Based in Hyderabad, Pragya brings nearly two decades of experience to McDonald’s India.
She has extensive expertise in strategic HR partnerships, capability development, and organisational design. Pragya’s career includes significant roles at several well-known companies, such as PepsiCo, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and KPMG. At PepsiCo, she held leadership positions, including Associate Director and Deputy Director, where she was instrumental in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, leading coaching programs, and managing succession planning across various sectors.
Her diverse experience across multiple industries has given her a deep understanding of managing complex workforces and implementing comprehensive talent strategies in different geographical contexts. Known for her people-first leadership style, Pragya is poised to enhance McDonald’s commitment to cultivating a positive workplace culture, fostering employee engagement, and achieving HR excellence globally. Her role will align HR practices with McDonald’s vision of creating a better work environment.
