Mastek has appointed Vimal Dangri as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective September 24, 2025.
Through this new role, Dangri will be succeeding Arvind J as CHRO and will continue to report to Umang Nahata, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Mastek.
With over 24 years of experience, Dangri is well-versed in legal advisory, project management, policy making, organisational change, process excellence, and empathetic problem-solving. His rich business acumen, combined with a people-first leadership style, positions him well to elevate Mastek’s talent and culture initiatives further.

Dangri has been a long-standing and integral member of Mastek’s Executive Leadership Team (ETL). Prior to his latest appointment, he had been serving the company as General Counsel & Chief Risk Officer. In his new role, Dangri will continue to assume his previous responsibilities.
As part of his expanded set of responsibilities, Dandri will be leading Mastek’s strategies and actions across legal, risk, compliance, ethics, corporate governance, quality, and sustainability. He also drives key business enablers, including cost efficiencies and structural simplification.

Before Mastek, Vimal led the legal, compliance, risk and secretarial functions at Firstsource Solutions. He was seemingly a part of the company from May 2001 to January 2020. Dangri is a law graduate from Karnataka State Law University and also holds a Master’s in Business Laws from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore.
