Lovely Professional University (LPU) Appoints Amit Verma as Assistant Director – Human Resources (HR).
With over 17 years of experience in Human Resources, Verma is especially well-versed in the higher education sector, IT, construction, and FMCG. He is skilled in manpower planning, organisation development, performance appraisal, recruitment & selection, training & development, people management, policy formulation, employee engagement, and people leadership.
Prior to joining LPU, Verma had been a part of Symbiosis International University. From November 2024 to September 2025, he was part of the institute’s HR team. In December 2021, Verma joined Amity University as HR Manager, a position he held until May 2024.
From April 2015 to December 2020, Verma was associated with Dynamic Group as a Manager. He was also with AADI HR Solutions from September 2011 to March 2015 as Senior Manager, Recruitment & Operations. Before that, Verma served as Senior Executive HR for DS Group (Dharampal Satyapal Limited) from February 2008 to September 2011.
Verma was affiliated with iBilt Technologies from February 2007 to January 2008 as Executive – BDPS – H.R. He also worked for GFFS from September 2004 to February 2007 as an HR Executive.
