Livspace has elevated Sonal Tayal as the new Head of Human Resources. With this, the firm looks forward to using her decade long experience of working across multiple functions including shaping operations and talent pipeline. She has served the company since it was an early stage venture. Now that Livespace is one of the leaders in its category, she will be leading HR.
Prior to this, she led other functions such as sales operations and helped the company’s Delhi NCR business. Before joining Livspace she also worked with the likes of Godrej, Interio, Meinhardt Group, Zeppelin Design & Environments and Omaxe Limited. According to a People Matters report, Livspace said that her wide-ranging experience will help her with people leadership.
Commenting on her appointment, Livspace founder and CEO Ramakant Sharma said that the development aligns with the company’s next phase of growth, and that her experience of multiple functions give her ability to build systems and develop talent has directly supported growth across markets.
She is an alumna of the Indian School of Business which, according to the report, makes her capable of solving complex challenges under pressure, and build agile team with strong execution of discipline.
