Shwetha Ram joins Liberty General Insurance as President – Human Resources. Before this role, she led HR for the Commercial division at Parle Agro Pvt Ltd, driving transformation and organizational development. She has also held leadership positions at Generali Central Life Insurance, Kellogg Company, Citi India, and Epicenter Technologies, where she played a key role in shaping workplace culture and building high-performance teams.
As a member of both the India leadership team and Liberty International Insurance’s APAC HR Leadership team, Shwetha will be instrumental in strengthening the talent pipeline, promoting the One Liberty culture, and driving Liberty India’s growth journey.
With more than 20 years of HR leadership across Insurance, Banking, FMCG, and ITES, Shwetha has spearheaded transformative initiatives in Talent Management, Executive Compensation, and Organizational Development. She holds expertise in cultural transformation, executive coaching, and employer branding. Her leadership reinforces Liberty’s focus on a strong talent strategy and organizational effectiveness.
Shwetha is passionate about coaching and mentoring young professionals, particularly HR talent. A certified design thinker and lifelong learner, she continually seeks opportunities to grow, evolve, and make a meaningful impact.
