KP Group has appointed Himanshu Roy as Head of Talent Acquisition.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Talent Acquisition at KP Group,” Roy shared on LinkedIn. He has a long history of working in the renewables and environmental industry. Roy is well-versed in management, management information systems (MIS), business development, recruiting, and human resources.
Prior to joining KP Group, Roy was a part of Renefra Energy. From April 2020 to January 2026, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Roy was also associated with SB Energy (SoftBank Group) as Head of Talent Acquisition. He also worked for Azure Power India as Head of Talent Acquisition.
From October 2011 to December 2014, Roy was with ACME Solar Energy as Manager Corporate HR. He was also affiliated with GHCL from July 2010 to October 2011 as Assistant Manager Corporate HR. In April 2008, Roy joined Akzo Nobel as a Business HR professional. He also held the role of Senior Officer, HR at Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals from April 2006 to April 2008.
