Kapston Services has appointed Dr Mruthyanjaya Rao M as General Manager Human Resources (HR).
“I am happy to share that I have joined Kapston Services Limited as General Manager-Human Resources,” Dr Rao shared on LinkedIn. “I look forward to contributing to Kapston’s vision of nurturing a high-performance, people-centric culture, and driving initiatives that strengthen our human capital ecosystem across the organization.”
The appointment marks Dr Rao’s return to the corporate industry. He had been a part of academia since September 2022, when he joined Symbiosis International University as Head of HR (HCM and L&D – India & Dubai Operations). In October 2024, he became Head of HR for CMR University and then Functional Head (Senior HR) for Chanakya University, Bangalore.
“Although I am back in the industry, my association with academia and research remains strong. I aim & anticipate to contribute to skill development and industry–academia collaboration by engaging with Universities and mentoring young professionals’ initiatives that also align with Kapston’s mission of building a skilled and job-ready workforce across the nation,” said Dr Rao.
From July 2021 to September 2022, Dr Rao worked for Teqsar as Assistant General Manager, HR. He was also affiliated with Karvy Stock Broking as a Manager from July 2018 to July 2021, as well as from October 2014 to November 2016.
In the past, Dr Rao has also worked for companies like BroadGate Solutions, mFino, and VoiceGate Technologies. He holds a PhD in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.
