K Hospitality Corp has appointed Yogesh Somani as Group Human Resources (HR) Head.
In his new role, Somani will be leading group people strategy for the company’s vibrant portfolio of restaurants, bars, travel F&B, banqueting, and QSRs. He will oversee operations for brands like Copper Chimney, Bombay Brasserie, The Irish House, TFS, Nando’s, Wagamama, Relay, Joshh, and many more.

It taught me the heartbeat of hospitality: empathy, grit, and the joy of making someone’s day just a little better.”
“Today, I return to K Hospitality Corp — not behind the bar, but at the helm of Group HR. It’s a homecoming,” Somani added. From October 2002 to February 2004, Somani was affiliated with K Hospitality’s Blue Foods as a Bartender.
Prior to rejoining K Hospitality, Somani was a part of MR DIY India. He served as Assistant Vice President and Head of HR from September 2022 to August 2025 at the company. From June 2018 to September 2022, Somani held the position of Lead – Regional HR BP at Infiniti Retail.
Somani was affiliated with Arvind Fashion for over 6 years. He joined the company in August 2011 as Regional HR Manager, a position he held until August 2016. From September 2016 to May 2018, he was Head – Retail Training at the company.
In December 2009, Somani joined the Gitanjali Group as Manager – HR, a role he held until August 2011. Before that, from August 2007 to May 2009, he was Assistant Manager HR for Arctern.
Additionally, Somani worked for GECL for over 3 years. He became affiliated with the company in February 2004 as Head Bartender. In September 2006, Somani pivoted to an HR career path, taking up the position of Human Resources Executive at the company.
