JWIL Infra Appoints Sunita Thakur Kohli as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
“We are delighted to welcome Ms Sunita Thakur Kohli as our new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at JWIL,” the company shared on LinkedIn. “With 33+ years of experience, she brings deep expertise across the water and wastewater sector, having led R&D, operations, business development, digital transformation, and inclusion & diversity initiatives across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. She joins us after an exceptional three-decade journey with SUEZ India.”
“In her new role, Ms Kohli Thakur will lead Human Resources, Administration, Communications, and CSR at JWIL,” the company added. “We look forward to her people-centric leadership as we continue our growth journey.”
Kohli was associated with Suez India for well over three decades. She joined the company under the brand name of Degremont in 1992 as Senior Research Officer and held the role until 1996. In 1997, Kohli became Commissioning Manager. This was followed by her becoming
Plant Manager (O&M Division) in 1997 and held that role for 11 years until 2008.
In 2008, Kohli became Senior Manager, Sales and Business Development. This was followed by her becoming Deputy General Manager in June 2011 and holding that until March 2015. Kohli rejoined the company under the brand name of Suez in January 2016 as Vice President- HR, Admin, Communications. She was later promoted to Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Admin, Communications in January 2021, a role he retained until her latest appointment.
