JLL has inaugurated a 120,000 sq ft Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad’s Financial District, its second such hub in India, with plans to scale the workforce to more than 1,600 high-skilled employees over the next two years. The facility operates under JLL Business Services (JBS), the company’s integrated operations delivery platform.
Spread across two floors of the Prestige Sky Tech building, the centre will handle finance operations, HR operations, project and development services, lease administration, and complex business processes for JLL’s global clients. It becomes JBS’s second India hub after Gurugram, which remains the company’s largest operational base in the country. Once fully staffed, the Hyderabad centre joins a JBS network spanning six countries and a workforce of over 6,500, with more than half based in India.
The centre was inaugurated by Telangana Minister for IT and Industries D. Sridhar Babu.
“The new GCC, which will create over 1,600 high-skilled jobs, reflects the growing confidence that global companies have in Telangana and reinforces Hyderabad’s position as a leading destination for Global Capability Centres,” he said in a post on X.
JLL, a global commercial real estate and investment management firm, framed the investment as part of its long-term business transformation strategy. The centre will combine skilled talent with AI-enabled workflows and standardised processes across functions.
“By establishing our GCC in one of India’s deepest talent markets, we are integrating exceptional people with standardised processes and AI-enabled workflows,” said Matthew Rees, Chief Shared Service Centre Officer, JLL Business Services. “This powers our commitments under the global strategy and strengthens the services we deliver to clients worldwide.”
The move aligns with India’s broader GCC surge. The country now hosts over 1,950 Global Capability Centres employing more than 1.9 million professionals, and Telangana alone has drawn nearly 150 GCCs over the past 20 months, generating more than 150,000 high-skilled jobs, according to state government figures cited at the launch.
