Jaggaer, a North Carolina–based cloud procurement automation company, has launched a new global capability center (GCC) in Hyderabad to drive its next phase of AI-powered innovation.
The Hyderabad GCC will serve as a hub for developing Jaggaer’s agentic AI platform (JAI) along with software engineering, cloud operations, and IT services for its global clients across industries such as manufacturing, higher education, FMCG, retail, and the public sector. The company currently employs 180 people in India and plans to expand the workforce to 500. The new team will focus on creating tools that span from conversational AI support to copilots for managing procurement workflows, with a long-term vision of building autonomous systems guided by human oversight.
Jaggaer CEO Andrew Roszko said, “Hyderabad expands our global footprint with a centre dedicated to building and scaling AI-powered procurement. This team will accelerate innovation for customers in every region and industry we serve.” Backed by Vista Equity Partners, Jaggaer chose Hyderabad for its pro-innovation policies, deep pool of AI and engineering talent, and a vibrant ecosystem supported by leading industry bodies. Telangana’s policy clarity and preparedness for enterprise-scale AI made the city a natural choice for this global investment.
Speaking at the launch, the IT Minister highlighted that Hyderabad continues to attract global players thanks to its strong base of deep-tech startups, AI talent, and a growing network of GCCs.”The arrival of over 70 Global Capability Centres in the past year shows the confidence that global majors place in our ecosystem. With initiatives like AI City and the upcoming AI University, Telangana is preparing the next wave of innovation. JAGGAER’s GCC adds to Hyderabad’s AI story, bringing advanced procurement and supply chain intelligence from our city to the world,” he added.
