Intas Pharmaceuticals has appointed Ajay Tiwari as President, Human Resources (HR).
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as President HR at Intas Pharmaceuticals!” Tiwari shared on LinkedIn.
Prior to joining Intas Pharmaceuticals, Tiwari was a part of Lupin Manufacturing Solutions as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) from January 2025 to August 2025. He was also affiliated with Lupin as Vice President (VP), HR from July 2019 to January 2025.
“As a VP HR with Lupin, I had the good fortune of working with some exceptional leaders in the manufacturing and quality function where we made a remarkable progress in our manufacturing capabilities and thereby strengthened the quality function globally to be a truly world-class organisation,” Tiwari reminisced about his time in his previous workplace.
“My role of a CHRO at LMS was not just an honor, but a transformative experience—one that challenged me, shaped me, and gave me some of the most fulfilling moments of my career as i built the organisation along with our exceptional leadership team in Lupin and LMS,” Tiwari added.
From August 2014 to June 2019, Tiwari worked with Tata Steel as Chief Human Resources – Group Corporate Functions. He was also affiliated with Unilever for over six years, first as Senior Category HR Manager, Personal Care (March 2008 to February 2012) and then as HR Business Partner, Global SC (March 2012 to August 2014).
Tiwari was a part of Tata Motors from 2006 to 2008 as Assistant General Manager, HR. He worked with Philips India as HR Manager from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, Tiwari was an HR Officer for Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces from February 1997 to October 1999.
