Infosys has relaunched its ‘Restart With Infosys’ programme, asking employees for referrals. The programme is designed for professional women seeking to re-enter the workforce.
In a reported internal email to employees, Infosys asked them to share referrals, highlighting the program’s requirements. The candidates must have at least two years of experience and must be on a continuous break of at least six months.
“This program offers nurturing mentorship and valuable skill development to rebuild their confidence and help them achieve their career aspirations. To show our gratitude, we offer rewards of up to Rs 50,000 for successful referrals,” the internal mail reportedly stated.
For successful closure referrals to positions at job level 3 (JL3), employees will receive ₹10,000. Similarly, for JL 4 and JL 5 positions, the referral amount is ₹25,000 and ₹35,000, respectively. Successful referral closures for the JL 6 position have an incentive of ₹50,000.
Under this initiative, Infosys is, as per sources, seeking to fill a wide range of jobs, including Java, .net, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Pegasus, React, Python, Angular, Informatica, and Selenium Testing across developer, tech lead, and manager positions.
Through ‘Restart With Infosys,’ the company seeks to diversify its workforce. As part of its ESG vision, the company hopes to achieve 45% female representation in its workforce by 2030. The latest ESG report by Infosys claimed that women made up about 39% of its workforce with an impressive headcount of 3,23,000.
“One of our programs, for example, encourages talented women in tech who’ve taken career breaks to ‘Restart with Infosys’ and re-enter the workforce,” Shaji Matthew, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), stated while talking about the company’s diversity goals under the ESG vision.
In FY2024-2025, Infosys hired around 900 women in mid-management roles under the ‘Restart with Infosys’ initiative. In the prior fiscal year, the company had hired 500 professional women through the same method.
