IT giant Infosys announced the results of the October 2025 to December 2025 (Q3 FY26). The company shared the details of its employee headcount, attrition, and possible pay hikes.
Infosys ended the quarter with an employee headcount of 3,37,034 on December 31, 2025. This was an increase of 5,043 employees from the end of the preceding quarter. On September 30, 2025, Infosys had 3,31,991 employees. In total, Infosys hired 13,655 employees in Q3 FY26.
“I think it demonstrates that we have confidence in where the market is, what we are seeing in terms of the demand,” Infosys CEO Salil Parekh shared while talking about the employee numbers.
As for attrition, the voluntary attrition rate in Infosys came down to 12.3% in Q3 FY26. Last year, for the same quarter, voluntary attrition in Infosys had been at 13.7%. On a quarter to quarter basis, voluntary attrition decreased by 2% in Q3 FY26 when compared to Q2 FY26.
CEO Parekh also talked about hiring plans for the next year, stating, “We are going to hire on campus. And this year, we have done 18,000-20,000. We will continue in that sort of range for next year, because of the new areas of demand.”
The company’s latest wage hike cycle finished in January 2026 and consisted of two segments. As per Infosys, the decisions for hikes over the next five years will be made over time.
“So we just finished one cycle of our wage, which was in two parts in January. We haven’t yet decided. on the next five years, we will decide as we progress,” CFO, Jayesh Sanghrajka, said.
