Infosys shared its performance details for the April-June quarter of fiscal year 2025-2026 (Q1FY26), including the details about its workforce changes.
In Q1FY26, Infosys’ voluntary attrition rate was reported at 14.4%, up from 14.1% in the previous quarter (Q4FY25). In the previous April-June quarter (Q1FY25), Infosys had an attrition rate of 12.7%.
While Infosys’ attrition rate climbs higher by the quarter, its hiring seems to have slowed down. In Q1FY26, the company had a net addition of 210 employees, bringing its total workforce to 323,788 as compared to 323,578 in March 2025. Compared to Q1FY25, the company has added a net of 8,456 employees, having had 315,332 in June 2024.
“If you look at our hiring numbers, our overall headcount has remained constant at this point in time, and our utilisation is at its peak at 85%. So, we will continue hiring. We expect to continue hiring in line with what we announced at the beginning of the year, so there’s no change there,” said Jayesh Sanghrajka, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Infosys.
Unlike most of its competitors, Infosys has already rolled out its salary hikes, spread over two phases. The initial hikes were implemented effective January 2025, while the second phase was implemented on April 1, 2025.
