IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, in partnership with the Union Education Ministry, is reportedly planning to launch an AI-powered HR analytics programme to accelerate the adoption of data and artificial intelligence capabilities in the human resources sector. This initiative is designed under the ministry’s SWAYAM Plus initiative.
The programme is initially designed to run for four months, including two days of on-campus learning at IIT Madras, where the institute’s faculty will lead the teaching
Participants will also undertake an industry-relevant capstone project that spans HR analytics dashboards, predictive models, AI-driven HR use cases, critical workforce metrics and data-informed decision-making, People Matters reported.
The programme is targeted at students and working professionals, particularly entry- to mid-level HR practitioners, aspiring HR leaders and professionals from sectors such as aviation, technology and services
“This programme marks an important step toward transforming HR into a truly data-driven and AI-empowered function. By combining academic rigour with practical industry insights, we aim to prepare future-ready HR leaders who can drive meaningful impact in organisations of tomorrow,” said MJ Shankar Raman, CEO, IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation.
