IIFL Home Finance, a leading NBFC, announced on Monday the appointment of Aarti Marwaha Upadhyay as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). She brings with her nearly two decades of experience in managing teams and driving strategic initiatives.
Aarti has built a wide-ranging expertise in HR and leadership development. Over the years, she has also led critical functions such as defining the strategic human capital agenda, talent management, leadership hiring, HR communication strategies, diversity programs, implementation of large-scale system changes, and leadership and organizational development.
Prior to this appointment, she served as Chief People Officer at Devyani International Limited, where she led the people function across brands such as KFC, Pizza Hut, Costa, Vaango, and Airports. Before that, she was Head of Human Capital – Offline Business at Lenskart.com and Vice President – Human Resources at Walmart India, where she played a pivotal role in talent acquisition, business partnering, diversity programs, and leadership development.
She has also held leadership positions at Religare, Jindal Steel Ltd., and Reliance Communications. In her new role, Aarti will focus on strengthening the company’s human resources function, building robust talent pipelines, and advancing people-first growth initiatives.
