Sharmishtha Bhadra has been appointed Head of Talent Management (Centre of Excellence) at ICICI Lombard. In this new role, she will oversee company-wide strategies for talent, leadership development, performance management, and culture, while also spearheading recognition programs, DE&I efforts, and internal communication design.
Sharmishtha confirmed the news on her LinkedIn page, sharing,
“I’m happy to share that I’ve started a new position as Head – Talent Management and Performance (Centre of Excellence) at ICICI Lombard! Coming back to Insurance feels like a second homecoming.”
Sharmishtha brings nearly two decades of experience across the Retail, BFSI, and STEM sectors, with expertise in talent management, leadership development, organizational development, and culture building. Throughout her career, she has designed strategies to boost organizational effectiveness and foster sustainable growth. She previously served as General Manager – Capability Building (Centre of Excellence) at Otis Elevator Co., where she partnered with India business and functional leaders to design solutions that supported key KPIs and ensured alignment of India’s leadership with global and APAC people and functional priorities. Sharmishtha has also held roles with Generali Central Life Insurance, Trent Hypermarket (a Tata & Tesco venture), Welspun Group, and Randstad India. An alumna of XLRI Jamshedpur, she also holds a degree in Advertising from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
