Gurugram-based IAS officer Sonu Bhatt has sought the annual POSH report of all the private entities, including schools in the city.
His office rolled out a form for the entities, asking for details such as the construction of an internal committee for the investigation, whether the employees are well-informed about such policies, etc.
The measure is seemingly ensuring better safety of women at work in the city as it mentions, “You are herepy directed to submit the Annual Report of your organisation perfaining fo compliance under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and redressal) Act, 2013 for the year 1st January, 2025 to 31 December, 2023.”

The notice further asks the companies to answer whether regular workshops are conducted to create awareness about such policies in the offices. Every company has been asked to inform whether all the employees, irrespective of position, are included under such programmes
Further, IAS Bhatt has directed the offices to inform whether the offices or the administrative units of the workplace are located at different places or divisional or sub-divisional level. As per the direction, every such office should have an internal committee for better protection of women
In addition, Bhatt has sought an update of the pending and resolved sexual harassment cases in the annual report
