I V S Ranganath has been appointed Vice President & Head – Human Resources at Tropilite Foods, effective September 2025. In this role, he will spearhead strategic HR initiatives, shape people strategy, manage national-scale operations, and strengthen organizational culture and capability. He will also lead HR operations for a diverse workforce of over 1,000 employees across research farms, production units, sales territories, and corporate offices, ensuring the people strategy is closely aligned with the company’s growth vision. His key priorities will include workforce and succession planning, employer branding, and building learning pathways to support employee development at all levels.
Prior to this appointment, Ranganath served as Head – HR, India at Shriram Bioseed Genetics (a division of DCM Shriram Ltd). In that role, he was responsible for driving people strategy, strengthening talent management, enhancing workplace culture, and supporting the organization’s growth agenda.
With close to three decades of HR leadership experience spanning FMCG, manufacturing, telecom, engineering, and agriculture, Ranganath has held senior roles at organizations such as Signode India Limited, Aircel Limited, Idea Cellular Ltd, Asian Paints, and Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages.
Ranganath has played a key role in driving initiatives around culture, change management, and people capability. He is passionate about mentoring and coaching business leaders and executives, and is equally committed to contributing to society through community development efforts.
