Sukhendu Ghosh has been promoted to CHR – Vice President & Head of Skills Development at Hindalco Industries Limited, the metals flagship of the Aditya Birla Group. In this role, he will spearhead the company’s skills development agenda, driving workforce capability building and aligning talent with Hindalco’s long-term growth strategy.
Prior to this appointment, he previously served as Assistant Vice President, contributing to significant organizational growth. Earlier, as Head of Operations at Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt Ltd, he led national-level skill development and entrepreneurship initiatives. He also served as Business Head at Indus Edutrain Pvt. Ltd., where he led the company’s business division and successfully secured projects from central and state governments.
With more than three decades of experience, Sukhendu brings deep expertise in technical leadership, people management, and large-scale operations. His background also spans business development, account mining, corporate and strategic alliances, along with project implementation and management.
