Heritage Foods Ltd. has appointed Amit Shetty as Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer, effective October 1. In this role, he will spearhead the company’s people strategy across its Dairy and Renewable Energy divisions, driving a culture of innovation, agility, and excellence.
Previously, Amit was associated with Frigorifico Allana Private Limited as General Manager – Human Resources. He has also been associated with leading organizations such as IFFCO Group, Allana Group, LafargeHolcim Europe, NIVEA India, and Tata Chemicals.
Amit brings nearly 18 years of experience in leading HR functions across diverse and dynamic business environments. Over the years, he has honed a strong ability to nurture talent, strengthen organizational culture, and drive strategic HR initiatives that deliver measurable business results.
His expertise lies in aligning people strategies with corporate goals, fostering workplaces where talent thrives and leadership grows. Amit’s career is marked by his proficiency in designing and implementing robust HR frameworks that boost employee engagement, enhance productivity, and ensure compliance across geographies. Whether it’s designing incentive programs for diverse teams, revamping compensation structures, or implementing comprehensive talent management initiatives, his focus consistently remains on driving value that fuels organizational growth and agility. Academically. he holds a Master’s degree in Management Studies (MMS) in Human Resources from Chetana’s R. K. Institute of Management, affiliated with Mumbai University.
