Healthium Medtech has appointed Vinod T Varghese as Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

The appointment has been welcomed by the company, which also expressed its happiness.

His leadership journey spans senior roles at industry leaders, making him a seasoned expert in human capital transformation,” Healthium shared on LinkedIn.
As a part of his new responsibilities, Varghese will focus on driving the people strategy to align talent, culture and leadership with business goals. The key HR functions he will be overseeing include HR business partnering, talent management, change management, leadership development, succession planning, and talent acquisition. Varghese will also be responsible for employee relations, performance management, post-merger HR integration, and benefits administration, among other HR operations.
In his new role, Varghese will report to Anish Bafna, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Healthium. Bafna is looking forward to working with the new CHRO, calling his appointment a key step in the company’s bid to invest in leadership and sustain long-term success.

For over 7 years, from April 2017 to May 2024, Varghese worked at Alstom Transport as HR Director, India. He was also affiliated with 3M for five years. Varghese started at 3M in May 2012 as Head – HR Business Partner, India. He then became the Asia Talent Development Manager in December 2014. in January 2017, Varghese became the Asia Talent Development Manager and SEA Talent Development Leader and held the role until November 2014.
From December 2009 to May 2012, Varghese worked at Colt Technology Services as Associate Director – HR. He was also a part of Ernst & Young (EY) from December 2004 to December 2009 as Associate Director – HR. Some of the other companies Varghese has worked for include HSBC and Shaw Wallace & Company.
